rebelracewriter
For those of you that thought the Outlaws were no longer the show they used to be, then you really missed one helluva race!!!!! Da Kind and the Dude started the 40 lap main, with Kinser staying low to grab the lead. Lasoski on the high side got around on lap two, with Kinser trying a slide job to get back by. Lasoski waited and drove back around Kinser as the two continued to duel it out. This allowed 2002 All-Stars Champ, Chad Kemanah to sneak up on them using the low side. Kemanah snuck by on lap 5, leaving both the outlaw hot shoes searching for his line. What I thought was going to be a big headline story came to an end when Tyler Walker stopped with a broken mag on lap 7. On the restart Lasoski blew back around as Kinser moved in to battle side by side with Kemanah. As the top 3 faught traffic, Craig Dollansky closed in on the trio. At halfway it was Lasoski, Kinser,Dollansky, Kemanah and Tim Shaffer in the top five. A spin by Shane Stewart brought out the yellow on lap 22, killing Lasoski's 10 car length lead. On the restart Lasoski jumped out to good lead, but the 17 time WoO champ searched out the right line and reeled Lasoski back in snagging the lead on lap 30. Kinser got a slight advantage, but Lasoski fought back as the two ran through traffic. With two to go Kinser got caught low and Lasoski had a run out of turn 4. But Kinser squeezed three wide around lapped car, with Lasoski missing him by next to nothing. This killed the Dude's momentum allowing Kinser put his Quaker State/Delco Remy/Hoosier/Maxim Chassis in the winners for the third time in the last three races. 11 Steve Kinser 20 Danny Lasoski 15k Chad Kemanah 83 Tim Shaffer 7 Craig Dollansky 21 Daryn Pittman 2 Paul McMahon 11k Kraig Kinser 5m Mark Kinser 1x Randy Hannigan 11h Jeff Sheppard 5 Jac Haudenschild 2w Johnny Herrera 22 Jason Johnson 66 Brooke Tatnell 17 Joey Saldana 29 Dean Jacobs 6r Bill Rose R19 Justin Henderson 4m Shane Stewart 35 Tyler Walker 50z Zach Chappell 76 PJ Chesson 15 Donny Schatz Chris Hennigan and Kenny Gaddis lead the 24 car field to green, with Wes Armstrong from row two grabbing the lap 1 lead. As the field came out of turn 4 Hennigan slipped up and slowed causing Gaddis to run into the back. The pack stacked up when Hennigan spun into Kevin Simpson who spun and was T-boned hard Donnie Powers. Simpson got out limping but was otherwise OK. On the restart Bobby Ruffin grabbed the lead only to have caution come out again for Powers and John Fenton who spun in turn 1. Once back to green and Ruffin was pulling away, but there was 4-wide racing for 8th-12th. At Halfway Ruffin had a good lead over Billy Robinson, Clyde Dunn, Gary Baker and Dennie Gieber, who were the top 5. The last yellow came on lap 11 for spin by Kolt Walker in turn 2. Dunn got by Robinson on the restart with Ruffin easing away. Gieber then ran down Robinson for second, taking Dunn along for the ride. Dunn and Gieber then swapped second back and forth, corner for corner until Gieber got it back for good. But by then Ruffin in the A-1 Services/Parkway Enterprises/Smileys Chassis was taking the checkers. 121 Bobby Ruffin 24 Dennie Gieber 88 Clyde Dunn 01 Billy Robinson 87 Billy Melton 101 BJ Robinson 25 Gary Baker 015 Shad Wells 16 Skippy Wells 17 Morgan Bailey 115 Brandon Smith 6 Donnie Powers 7 John Fenton 68 Lindsey Shields 14 Terry Morris 11 Kolt Walker 74 Jason Hammond 22 Michael Burge Sorry bout the rest, I grabbed the wrong finish sheet!!
