rebelracewriter Posted June 1, 2010 Report Share Posted June 1, 2010 Desert Thunder twinbill is next for EQ Cylinder Heads Wild West Tour PRICE, Utah (June 1) – The second racing doubleheader of the season takes the EQ Cylinder Heads Wild West Tour for IMCA Modifieds to Desert Thunder Raceway for Friday and Saturday, June 4-5 shows. Car counts of 40 or more make series features $1,000 to win qualifying events for the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. Series features pay $750 when 39 or fewer cars are entered. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Southwest Racing Specialties Southern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts are on both programs, racing for all applicable points. Pit gates at Price open at 1 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. both days. Hot laps follow the 6 p.m. drivers’ meeting and racing starts at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, $5 for kids 6-12 and active military personnel with ID, and free for youngsters five and under. Family passes for two adults and their children 16 years and under go for $25. Pit passes are also $25.
