Guest Mary Ann Naumann
Thanks J & Nick, just one little change in the unofficial results, car #43 finished in front of the #29, reason, during the 10 min competition yellow-pit stop, the rule was: a car could not change a tire, unless it was a visible flat and approved by Director of Tech, and then, that car had to start at the rear! If changed without approval, that car would be docked a lap, the #43, changed all four tires and was warned and given the opportunity to put the same TSRS marked tires back on before the 10 min time was called. He just made it in time, as soon as the race was completed, while he was still on pit road, his tires were verified by TSRS Director of Tech, Jack Sandefur & approved they were TSRS marked! Scoring had noted the tire changes & docked him a lap, as was the case at that time. They, scoring were finalizing the finish with penalties and did not hear the announcer, "Sarge" telling the fans of the result of the tires for the #43. That was corrected after J. Hallas & Pat Mayberry had left with results, so, giving his lap back, made this change. Great race, guys! Thanks.
