The new Three-Day Format has been announced, the Pre-Entry list of drivers has been announced, but people still want to know the 411 on the biggest Late Model race on the East Coast! In an attempt to answer all of your Firecracker 100 Three-Day Weekend questions in fail swoop, we have created an entire list of Frequently Asked Questions! You can view and print this document at the Firecracker page on www.Lernerville.com. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: What is the “Firecracker 100”? A: The “4th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com” is one of the Crown Jewels of Dirt Track Late Model Racing. The new three-day format will rock your world! Three Nights, three complete shows, capped off by the 100-lap, $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com Feature! Thursday and Friday Nights will feature a full World of Outlaws Late Model Series program complete with time trials, heats, Last Chance Showdowns and $6,000-to-win, 30-lap Features. A point system from nights one & two will set the heat lineups for Saturday Night. Following the heats will be a pair of Last Chance Showdowns, the Uncle Sam 30 non-qualifiers race and the 4th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com Feature. The first three Firecracker 100 Features have been won by Scott Bloomquist, Brian Birkhofer and Jimmy Mars. The full roster of World of Outlaws Late Model Series stars will be in action, including defending Series Champion Josh Richards and regional stars Chub Frank & Russell King. Q: Is reserved seating available? A: Yes! The majority of the main grandstand seats are designated as reserved. Seats available for purchase may be reviewed in real time online at https://dirtcar.ticketforce.com or by clicking the “Buy Tickets” icon on the front page of www.Lernerville.com. Q: How much are advance tickets? A: Three-Day Package Reserved or General Admission seats are $59 for adults and $19 for kids 10 & under in Reserved. As always, kids 10 & under are admitted FREE into General Admission Three-Day Reserved tickets include FREE pit pass upgrades for Thursday & Friday Nights. This offer expires on June 23. After June 7, single day advance tickets will be available at www.Lernerville.com. Thursday-only or Friday-only Advance Reserved seats are $25 for Adults. Saturday-only Advance Reserved seats are $30 for Adults. ***Children (10 & under) are admitted FREE in the General Admission section*** Advance Purchase – Reserved and General Admission – Save $5 Thursday-only and Friday-only Adults - $25 Students (11-17) - $10 Kids 10 & under – FREE Saturday-only Adults - $30 Students (11-17) - $15 Kids 10 & under – FREE All Advance Ticket sales end at midnight June 23. A: Yes, Lernerville is blessed with many great seats! The Three-Day Reserved Ticket Package and discounted single day ticket(s) offer expires on June 23. Thursday-only, Friday-only and Saturday-only tickets, Reserved and General Admission will be available the day of the event(s). “Day of Show” – Reserved and General Admission Thursday-only and Friday-only Adults - $29 Students (11-17) - $10 Kids 10 & under – FREE Saturday-only Adults - $35 Students (11-17) - $15 Kids 10 & under – FREE Q: Can I purchase pit passes in advance? A: Eligibility for the valuable insurance benefits and money-saving discounts offered to DIRTcar Members are verified in person therefore pit passes are sold day of show only. Pit passes must be purchased in person at the Pit Window located outside of the main entrance to the pit area. Once there, you will be required to sign a Waiver and Release of Liability and will be issued a wristband. Q: How much are pit passes? A: Please note that pit passes do not guarantee a seat in the frontstretch grandstand. Three Day Pit Pass Three-Day Pit Pass DIRTcar Members - $75 Non-members - $85 Thursday-only and Friday-only Pit Pass DIRTcar Members - $30 Non-members- $35 Saturday-only Pit Pass DIRTcar Members - $35 Non-members - $40 Q: What is the age limit for the pit area? A: There is not an age limit for the pit area at this event. Minors aged 17 and younger must submit a fully-executed minor “Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement/Minor's Assumption of Risk and Release and Waiver of Liability.” These will be available at the Pit Ticket Windows. Q: Will I be able to upgrade my ticket to include a pit pass for Saturday Night? A: Yes. Pit pass upgrades will be $10 for adults. Q: How do I get tickets? A: Log on to www.Lernerville.com and click the “Buy Tickets” icon, call the Lernerville Speedway office during normal business hours at (724) 353-1511, or at Lernerville Speedway on race day. Tickets purchased prior to Wednesday, June 2, 2010 will be mailed via the United States Postal Service. Tickets purchased after this date will be held at Lernerville Speedway’s Will Call window for pick up beginning Wednesday, June 23. Q: How can I enter the Driver/Fan Horseshoe Tournament? A: Contestants will be chosen throughout the Three-Day Firecracker weekend in a variety of ways including t-shirt tosses, trivia questions and sign-ups at the Lernerville and GottaRace.com souvenir trailers. Q: Is NoMAD performing in concert again this? A: Of course they are! NoMAD has rocked the crowd each of the first three Firecracker 100 weekends after the completion of Friday Night’s racing program! As always, homegrown recording artist Vanessa Campagna will open the show before NoMAD takes the stage. If you cozied up beside a campfire the past few years, do yourself a favor and go check out Vanessa and NoMAD!! We also have the Joe Patrick Band on tap for Thursday Night on the Firecracker stage to kick off the huge weekend. Q: Is there a fireworks show? A: Absolutely! A spectacular one-of-a-kind concert-style fireworks and pyrotechnic display by our friends at Premier Pyrotechnics will light the sky all weekend! Q: What is the daily schedule? A: The tentative daily schedule has been posted on the Firecracker page of www.Lernerville.com, but in general, Thursday and Friday are complete World of Outlaws Late Model Series events, complete with time trials, heats, Last Chance Showdowns and $6,000-to-win 50-lap Features each night. Saturday kicks off with heat races (seeded by a point system from the results of Thursday & Friday Night shows), Last Chance Showdowns, the $3,00-to-win Uncle Sam 30 and the $30,000-to-win 4th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com Feature. Q: What is there to do for three days between the races? A: Fans can participate in a Hot Dog Eating Contest, Best Tailgate Contest, Best Camp Site Contest, Driver Autograph Session and the always popular Driver/Fan Horseshoe Tournament and Weenie Roast. Fans will also be treated by concerts Thursday & Friday Nights, the first ever Ms. Firecracker Pageant and an awesome Fireworks display. Q: Are coolers permitted? A: Small coolers are permitted at Lernerville Speedway, with no glass containers. Coolers must be “Personal” size only. No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the speedway grounds. Alcohol must be purchased on site or left at your camp site. Q: Is camping available? A: For a Three-Day show? Of course! We have a variety of Camping packages to suit all types of parties. Q: Will the pits be open after the races? A: Yes, the pits will open after the completion of all on-track activity Saturday Night so the fans in the stands can see the cars and stars up close and in person! Q: What are the tire rules? A: The DIRTcar Late Model tire rule will be in effect. Late Model teams will run Hoosier LM10, LM20, LM30 or LM40 tires exclusively. Q: What is the Purse? A: Throughout the action packed Three-Day Firecracker weekend, over $172,000 in total purse will be paid out, with Thursday & Friday Night features paying $6,000-to-win, the Uncle Sam 30 non-qualifiers race paying $3,000-to-win and the 4th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com Feature paying $30,000-to-win. Q: Where is the track located? A: Lernerville Speedway is easy to find along Route 356 in Sarver, PA. The speedway is a short trip from any direction; the PA Turnpike and Route 28 North from Pittsburgh, Interstate 79 & PA Turnpike East from Cranberry Township, and Routes 8 & 422.
