My question is has anyone ever run 2.73 rear gear in 1st gear and what was your outcome? The final gear comes out to be 6.87. My car is a 2 seater and will probaly weigh around 3800lbs. Ford27 Posted February 24, 2010 Report Share Posted February 24, 2010 i dont know anyone who has ran a gear like that but i think the biggest worry would be a grand stock runnin with rpms that high for to long. i calc out with a 15" tire you would run about 1 mph per hundred rpm give or take.(65 mph= 6500rpm) ballparked. someone else probably knows better than me tho. other than that a gears a gear Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
