rebelracewriter Posted April 14, 2004 Report Share Posted April 14, 2004 Hill Country Raceway, Regular Season Grand Opening On 4/17/04 This Saturday afternoon, the brand new 1/4 mile dirt track, Hill Country Raceway opens for the start of its regular points season for stock car classes. The track is located on Interstate 10 @ exit 490 in Mountain Home, Texas. The National Anthem will be performed by the Comfort High School, Bobcat Band. This weeks racing program includes the IMCA Modifieds($400 to win), Sportsman($350 to win), Street Stocks($250 to win), and Rookie Stocks($150 to win). The South Texas Outlaw Mini-Sprints will also be on hand for an exhibition race for the little winged wonders. A tire and welding truck will be in the pit area, and SUNOCO Racing Fuel is also available at the track.
