SASPEEDRACER24
Looking to buy a new waterpump for the car for this coming season just wondering which brands give the most bang for the buck for the high volume type... Milodan, Stewart ect... Also is there any advantage to running a long pump over a short... Marc
Truck99
You can't go wrong with a stewart. We've also run the Moroso aluminum pump with good results. I don't remember the part number, but it claims to have the "low drag" impeller.
champkrt1
I switched to the Stewart water pumps years ago for our limiteds, and have not ever had a complaint. Well worth the money.
1955chevy33
Hey Marc,be careful on buying a short or long pump. You need to decide what you want to run. Example. If you run a reduction set of pulleys almost all run off the short pump. If you run a long pump you can use the stock pulleys. If you run a long pump your fan will sit about 2 inches closer to your radiator ,of course the short pump puts it 2 inches farther away. If you run stock power steering most run off the long pump,if you run aftermarket(you can get mounts for either location),most aftermarket run off the short pump. I ran into all of these headaches this season with my car. Good luck and ttyl. Freddy
