The price is $ 150,000 or best offer. There was alot of work done on the track by the last person who leased the track and it was starting to turn around. This could be a good race track. NickHolt Posted September 14, 2009 Report Share Posted September 14, 2009 Rick, San Angelo Speedway is 1/4-mile clay oval which is just a couple miles north of San Angelo. It first opened in 1983 and ran through 1988. It reopened from 1994 through about 2004. It reopened briefly again in 2006. Someone advertised a demo derby there in 2008, but can't find it now. In the past it's been called 2105 Speedway, Angelo Speedway, Rolling Thunder Speedway, Race City USA, San Angelo Texas Speedway and Road Runner Speedway.
