junior
There are some of the 400 with the same output shaft as the 350's but most of them have the large output, the ones with the small one can work with same driveshat as the 350. If you are thinking about using it in a race appliction there would not be any advantage and it is a lot heavier Edited August 1, 2009 by junior

Whitey741
You can buy a u-joint that makes the switch from the smaller th350 size on the shaft to 400 yoke. I will look for the part # when I have a chance. Dana/Spicer made it. I went from a 4spd muncie to a T-10 using one and never had a problem. Not a race application though. RockStan
gm did make a 375 it was a cross between a 350 and a 400 if you could find a output shaft and tail housing for one it would b an easy crossover and could use same driveshaft as 350 maybe shorten it up though
