rebelracewriter Posted March 18, 2004 Report Share Posted March 18, 2004 News Release I-37 Speedway Prepares for 2004 Racing Season Pleasanton, Texas - I-37 Speedway will start the 2004 the summer racing season on Saturday, March 20 with an “Open Practice Session” for all classifications of cars wishing to participate. Track Promoter, Joe Horne has announced “the open practice is scheduled from 11:00am until dark. Free barbeque and iced tea will be served starting at noon to all attending on March 20”. Grandstand admission is free. . I-37 Speedway is a quarter mile oval dirt track located on the east side Interstate 37 just 30 miles south of the I-37 – Loop 410 interchange. Racing fans from both San Antonio, Corpus Christi and other south areas should take exit # 104 (Leal Road) proceed south on the east frontage road and follow the signs to I-37 Speedway.
