FORT WORTH-DALLAS (March 8, 2004) - NGK Spark Plugs and Texas Motor Speedway

have expanded their corporate relationship with the announcement of the NGK

Spark Plugs Shootout for the World of Outlaws Sprint Series on Saturday night,

April 3 at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track.

NGK Spark Plug's title sponsorship of the World of Outlaws Sprint Series event

at the Dirt Track increases the company's involvement at Texas Motor Speedway.

NGK Spark Plugs has sponsored Sparky, the speedway mascot, for the past three

seasons and will continue in 2004.

"We are looking forward to NGK Spark Plug's additional participation at Texas

Motor Speedway," said Mike Stark, District Sales Manager of NGK Spark Plugs

(USA) Inc. "The World of Outlaws provides fans with dirt track speed and

excitement. We welcome all race fans to the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track and

the World of Outlaws.

"It is also a pleasure to continue NGK Spark Plug's long relationship with

Sparky," continued Stark. "Sparky brings smiles and laughs to fans of all ages

at Texas Motor Speedway. It is only natural that the leader in spark plug

technology helps bring "The Fastest Mascot in the West" to the speedway's fans."
