With the field of over 100 Modifieds pared down to the fastest 24 of the weekend, Jared Webb and Bobby Ruffin led the field to green for the start of the 25 lap A-Main. Ruffin was first into turn 1 followed by three wide racing for second between Webb, Scotty Brown and David McKay. Past Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track winner,Kenny Gaddis began his charge, moving into seventh from his thirteenth starting spot on lap 2.

Casey Jordan moved in to battle Brown for third lap 4, as the top five started to ease ahead. By lap 6, Gaddis made it into the top five getting around Jeff White for fifth. Jordan was looking inside Webb for second on lap 7, while Gaddis ran along side Brown for fourth. As Gaddis and Brown fought it out, they ran down Jordan, with the trio three wide for third on lap 9.

Battles were raging back in the pack as well with seven cars slugging it out for sixth on back, with a lot of rubbin' and bangin' going on. Jordan got past Webb for second on lap11, with Gaddis making the pass on both Webb and Brown to grab third spot. Coming to the crossed flags, Jordan snagged the point from Ruffin, with Gaddis, Webb and Brown rounding out the top five.

Gaddis continued his march towards the front powering by Ruffin on lap 13 for second. Gaddis didn't waste any time, quickly looking inside Jordan on lap 14. In the meantime, the slug-fest for sixth continued with positions and paint swapped nearly every corner. Jordan and Gaddis were wheel to wheel for the point on lap 17, while Jamie Burford was able to break free of the wolfpack for sixth.

Jordan got a four car length adavantage on lap 18, only to see Gaddis close back in with five to go for one last charge. Gaddis took the low side on Jordan on lap 21 and was able to poke the nose ahead at the line to lead lap 22. Shane Clement brought out the yellow during lap 23 to bring out the races only caution.

The gave drivers and fans alike, a chance to catch their breath as the readied for the three lap shoot-out to the finish. As the green flew, Gaddis got a great start, with BJ Robinson on the high side getting a big run as the field battled three and four wide behind the leader.

Gaddis held a three car lead over Jordan and Ruffin, who were door to door for second as the white flag flew. Coming to the checkers, PJ Egbert was making a bold move on high side nearly getting pinched into the wall. But it was the Longview, Texas driver, Kenny Gaddis grabbing the gold as he picked up his second TMS Dirt Track win in his Destany Frieght/Sonny Merton Self Storage/Danz Designs/Paneltruss/AP Equipment/McWharter Electric/Transmissions Unlimited/Hughes Chassis in only it's second night of action.
