debwill Posted February 28, 2004 Report Share Posted February 28, 2004 San Antonio Speedway will hold an open practice on Saturday, March 6, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. Gates will open at 11 a.m. It will be held for all local classes and excludes ROMCO, TSRS and ARTS. Unless SAS or ROMCO do not want us to practice before the 3/13 event. Then any ARTS truck is free to practice whenever they like. Mike Sepich Posted March 1, 2004 Report Share Posted March 1, 2004 Jon, Let me explain the reason why the March 6 practice is limited to San Antonio Speedway registered cars, TPS, and TAMS cars. San Antonio Speedway has leased the track to Sendero Entertainment (ROMCO) for March 12 & 13. The decision to not allow ROMCO, TSRS, and ARTS to practice after March 3 was made during contract negotiations for this event. Please contact Terry Barden for any other questions.
