Danielsen Motorsports
Well for what its worth... We will go race against many other good drivers with full fields of cars with our pure stocker, win our fair share of races for $250 to win on a regular night and be a contender for a championship. On top of it we might even break even if we keep our nose clean with sponsors covering our traveling expenses again this year. Dont understand racing for $300 after spending the amount it takes to win in a modified or for that matter any class. Yea I know it aint about the money but there is an obvious car count increase when the purse is higher and everyone knows it. Not saying it should be $1000 to win racing for $500 to win should be the minimum for that kind of a class. I think the tracks this year have an even better chance of making money then ever before as crazy as that sounds. The car counts are there if the purse is but it takes alot of fans to do it. Fans right now dont have alot they can turn to that is cheap for entertainment. Taking a family to the races should have been the #1 priority this offseason for all the tracks this past winter. Have going to the races on a short list of things that are affordable might get the purses back to respectable. Anyway cant wait for our season to start so we can have fun and try to win our money back from the offseason.
