CC57
Trying to indentify the brake calipers on my Mod. It's an '01 Harris, Camaro spindles with an adapter for mountng the calipers. Is there any particular place or alphanumeric sequence that I should look for so I can identify the make/model of the calipers? Thanks in advance

poorboy
Never heard of anyone using Camaro spindles on a dirt mod but if they are camaro then they use the large GM calipers but if there is and adapter then it probably has the metric GM bolted to it. cperry115
what front clip does the mod have ? most dirt mods are gonna be on Chevelle or Metric front clips and either will use pinto spindles w/ adaptors for the gm calipers or metric spindle/metric caliper. but stranger things have happened. i'm really suprised that Oldtimer needs a pic being the crew chief/ racing guru/ mechanic he is
CC57
Meant to get back on here and post an update. I fairly sure they're GM Metric calipers. I should know soon. But thanks for the help guys.
matt5858
measure from center to center on the caliper bolt holes. I think metric calipers are 5 1/2 inches apart and the GM big calipers are 7 inches apart. Hope this helps!!!
