IMCA national champions Egbert, Snellenberger

earn biggest shares of Moser cash award program

 

PORTLAND, Ind. (Nov. 13) – National champions P.J. Egbert and Rod

Snellenberger landed the biggest shares of cash prizes awarded to

IMCA drivers this season by Moser Engineering.

 

Moser paid $50 for each feature win by Modified and Stock Car drivers

who participated in the 2008 sign-up program and competed with a

Moser-made rear end, issuing checks for a total of $6,800.

 

Modified king Egbert won 27 sanctioned events to earn $1,350, while

Stock Car titlist Snellenberger won 24 features for $1,200.

 

Other Modified drivers who signed up for the Moser program and their

number of feature wins were Greg Dinsmore (10), Butler Built South

Central Region rookie of the year Benji Kirkpatrick (nine), Chad

Dolan (seven), Corey Lagroon (four), Jason Schoen berger (three),

Wayne Johnson (two) and Patrick Flanagan and Mike Petersilie (one each).

 

Participating Stock Car drivers included national and Jet Racing

Northern Region runner-up Mike Nichols (22), Destroyer Chassis

Southern Region runner-up Duain Pritchett (18), Larry Karcz Jr.

(five) and Bob Ahrendsen (three).

 

Drivers in both divisions who filled out and returned sign-up sheets

this season received $100 from the Portland, Ind., manufacturer.
