i was out in cali for a late model race last weekend and ron capps raced, dont remember where he finished but ran decent in top notch equipment. this was at all american speedway in roseville ca, the same track kristin runs at. the late model race sucked, but the camping world race was pretty good, lots of body parts flying off and leaders taking each other out.

big john

couldnt find race results, but the 05 of schmidt and the 05x of philpott took the 1000 dollar challenge to start at the rear and win, philpott wrecked early and schmidt wrecked late and finished around 5th

i was there with the 9 of craig swim, worked our butts of for 2 days and got caught up in the same wreck as philpott. with the two cars going to the rear, the 16 grewohl started on the pole and lead every lap.

Big John he finished 6th. I read on competitionplus.com where the team was really excited when he tested for them stating that the team thought he would have a big learning curve cause all the circle track races he raced where in midgets or dirt late models never on asphalt. They say he adapted really quick and was giving the team excellent feedback. Could this be another crossover racer.

As a side bar excluding Txtom and my father ProTree what NASCAR racer has dabbled in NHRA Drag racing in top fuel and has been rumored to wanting to cmoe back to it, and what Nationwide racer is taking the steps to get a Nitro Funny Car license?

I wanna answer!!!

John Andretti drove the Taco Bell sponsored dragster owned by Jack Clark, a former major league baseball player. Andretti drove in 1993, and while he did not get a win, he made the semis his first race.

Bob Gilbertson owns the car Wallace is driving for his license.

Also, Kenny Wallace and Clint Bowyer are playing around in the Pro Stock world.
