FYI: There are great "Google Earth" like aerial images of Playland Park and the entire Houston area as it was in 1957 at: http://www.historicaerials.com/ Just follow viewing instructions at that site. These are high altitude photos from an aircraft with about the same resolution as todays Google images. (Be sure and select the year 1957 from the side bar.)
