rebelracewriter Posted September 17, 2008 Report Share Posted September 17, 2008 From Gator Motorplex; THIS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH RACES ARE CANCELLED DUE TO HURRICANE IKE RECOVERY The Race Track Weathered Well, A Few Advertisement Signage Was Damaged, No Structural Damages. However, due to the loss of Electricity for everyone we have decided to give everyone a week to get caught up from the hurricane damages throughout their communities. We look forward to seeing everyone on Sept. 27th. From Houston Raceway Park; Houston Raceway Park suffered minimal damage to its infrastructure as a result of Hurricane Ike and is scheduled to reopen on backup generator power, Monday, September 22, 2008. All racing activity scheduled for September 19-21, 2008, has been canceled. We will resume normal business operations and our full schedule of events at that time.
