Crazyhorse
i gotta a question. the #36 super in 2nd feature is shown finishing in 10th place only completing 12 laps. why couldn't he have been scored seventh? by the way for all those wondering what is happening to car counts, he was told to get off the track because he wasn't running a scanner. GREAT JOB MATT! looking at a top 5 finish from last place start before they decided they didn't want you on their track anymore. ShortTrackFan
Awesome win Levi! A great night for the #32 A-Line Super Stock team and then a 2nd place to finish off the night! Any time you can go One/Two against this mighty bunch is fanstatic. Keep up the good work!
NickHolt
Shawn Paul, If you have a question about scoring, I'm sure you know how to get in touch with Kathy. I'm sure Kathy has a logical explanation about how the race was scored. But if you have a complaint about the way the race was run since you are attributing calls made by the track as a reason why car counts are dwindling, you might consider contacting the track management or the Race Director rather than publicly calling out the track for enforcing their rules. I like Matt too. He and his family are super people. But I'm sure the Bankers are perfectly capable of contacting the track if they have any concerns. Thanks. NickHolt
Congrats on your first feature win Levi. I know there's many more to come. Keith, That car was amazing. I know you put a bunch of work and a lot of thought into that particular car. It was a winner both at SAS and THR. You more than know what you're doing, but if you decide to put a new one together and would like to hear another point of view on this or that, let me know. fast18
Great run Levi ! When the track goes red they are pretty serious about stopping your racecar. Matt I know you'll be back running strong. (Be careful about the cars brake checking on restarts....my back still hurts )

Matt I know you'll be back running strong. (Be careful about the cars brake checking on restarts....my back still hurts ) That was a hard hit. Sorry, I had a run goin in and before I could hit the brake pedal you were almost at a stand still... Ill be sure and watch out.
STREET02
Yes 02 was DQ'd Roller hit last thread of a 1/4 inch body brace bolt. And thats no exaggeration!! Frame height ... 5 2/16ths. "Ride Height" was checked in the pits prior to the 50 laps run , but suspension settled. Guess Rules are Rules no room for judgement. See yall next year if the car does not sell Driver
mototerry
I want to be very clear.....The ride height infraction awarded to the 02 was in no way a factor in the outcome of the race. No advantage could possibly be gained by a single quarter inch bolt riding 4 15/32 inches above the racing surface. So before posting this comment I went to the SS rules and read the ride height rule. There is a provision for the Technical Inspector to make a judgement call. It reads "The only exemption is if deemed by the technical inspector that race damage from the same night is the cause of the infraction." What I witnessed was the Inspector made no attempt at all to determine if the roller hitting the very tip of a single quarter inch bolt that secured a body brace was possibly due to some minor damage during a 50 lap feature. If the ride height prior to the 50 laps was checked and it was clear then every effort should have been made to determine the cause of the infraction. Especially when the consequence is stripping the driver of a win. When over the course of a season thousands of dollars are poured into these cars and hundreds of dollars are spent by family and friends coming to the track then by God we deserve more than a "It hit, you're done"....As far as the rest of this year, you don't know how prophetic that statement was.... FitchRacer07
I won't go into it, so I can't be accused of running down the track and/or the officials which I have been a big supporter of this year, but the response we got when we questioned a call was the standard: "It was a judgment call - sometimes they go for you sometimes they go against you" Again, just for clarification, I am not bad mouthing the track or the officials, just a lousy call that was made. I think it has been a great year and thank all those involved in making it happen.
NickHolt
Nobody likes to get DQ'd. I know that personally because I have been both the DQ'd and the DQ'er over the span of 30-something years in racing. And, just like Doug and his Dad, I felt I had a case why the track officials were wrong, or at best, using poor judgement when my car was DQ'd. So I went to the Chief Tech and started to plead my case and promptly found myself being escorted out the pit gate before I'd even got to the "good part." LOL The Tech Department has a job to do and they are charged to do that job fairly and without bias. So if Jack found a car too low (I know it was just a bolt and I know it probably did not offer any distinct advantage over the rest of the field.), it was his job to do what he has done in other similar instances. Which he did. Now getting on a public forum and making a case against the Tech Department's call may make the poster feel better, it can also do a great deal of harm, especially if a respected racer threatens to maybe boycott the track as a result of their DQ. Lots of people like and respect Doug Ayers. I know I do. And I'm pretty sure Jack does too. And if you went around the pits you'd have a hard time trying to find someone who doesn't. But it's not Jack's style to make exceptions based on whether he likes you or not. If there is an exception made for this or that, you can bet it's not based on what team is involved. I'm fairly certain that the track will not be debating this call on here. So if the debate needs to continue, it shouldn't be conducted here. It should be done in private.
