Harris Clash special July 17 at Knoxville Raceway

 

KNOXVILLE, Iowa (July 7) – First place pays $2,000 in the Thursday,

July 17 Harris Clash for IMCA Modifieds at Knoxville Raceway.

 

Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are also on the program for the

17th annual event, with the winner of that feature earning $500.

 

IMCA national and Smiley’s Racing Products State points will be

awarded in both divisions. Home region points will be given for the

Modifieds. Twenty-eight cars will comprise the Modified grid, which

pays a minimum of $200 to start. The winner will also join the ballot

for the 2009 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational.

 

Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. on race day and the draw closes at 6:05

p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with the first heat race at 7:15 p.m.

 

Pit passes are $25 and no one under the age of 16 will be allowed in

the pit area. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $3 for kids

5-15; children four and under will be admitted free.
