rebelracewriter Posted April 14, 2008 Report Share Posted April 14, 2008 Friday, April 11, 2008 Honey Gets HOT Win ELM MOTT—Jason Honey from Waco took the feature win in the I.M.C.A. modified class Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway with Greg Atwood from Georgetown in second and Benji Kirkpatrick from Elm Mott in third. Keith White and Brandon Stewart, both from Academy, won the first and second place spots in the I.M.C.A. SportMod feature. Chris Cogburn from Robinson ran third. Charles Cosper from Belton picked up the I.M.C.A. Hobby Stock feature win. Shannon Dulock from Axtell followed in second, and Jonathan Beard from Gatesville was third. Matt Hood from McGregor led Ed Thompson and Paul Bolfing, both from Waco, to the finish line in the street stock feature. Melvin Kemp from Waco, Kirk Tidwell from Hillsboro, and Timmy Kemp from Waco were the top three finishers in the pure stock feature. Cruiser top three were Jeff Willis from West, Raymond Hixson from China Spring, and Mike Van Cleave from Waco. Garret Rawls from China Spring dominated the junior mini stock class with his fourth win in a row. Dillon Payne from Hillsboro and Leon Alvarado from Riesel claimed second and third. Tyler Russell from Burleson finished first in the Brazos Mini Stock feature race. Kenny Ellwood ran second, and Chipper Wood was third. Next Friday will be a regular race program for I.M.C.A. modifieds, I.M.C.A. SportMods, I.M.C.A. hobby stock, street stock, pure stock, cruiser, and junior mini stock.
