DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THE MASS CONFUSION WITH THE FLAGMAN, TOWER, AND TRACK. SEEMED LIKE SEVERAL CARS GOT WRECKED AND CAUSED SEVERAL TO LOSE POSITIONS DUE TO EITHER THROWING THE YELLOW WITH THE SPIN ON THE BACKSTRETCH WITHOUT A CAR IN SIGHT OR LEADERS SWERVING AROUND TRYING TO MISS SPUN OUT CARS HALF A LAP LATER. JUST LOOKED VERY DANGEROUS FROM A SPECTATORS POINT. REALIZE DIFFERENT VIEWS ALL AROUND THE TRACK. CURIOUS AS TO WHO DECIDES WHETHER TO THROW THE YELLOW OR COMBO OF ALL. DIDNT SEEM TO BE VERY GOOD COMMUNICATION.

WASNT TRYING TO PUT DOWN. JUST CURIOUS ABOUT WHO IS ACTUALLY THE ONE MAKING THE CALL. BUT A FIRST TIMER IN MY OPPINION SHOULDNT BE UP THERE BY HIMSELF IF THAT IS THE CASE. ONCE AGAIN NOT TRYING TO PUT HIM DOWN. JUST SOME THOUGHTS. PLEASED WITH THE RACING AND TRACK. CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM!!!!!

In a lot of cases, either tower, race director or infield steward will make a call, if the flagman doesn't see it......which isn't easy.....trust me, you can't watch every corner. Now speaking from racing expereince, not necessarily the track......but MOST flagmen will give a person a chance to get restarted in order to keep a show rolling, especially if they are implimenting a one/two spin rule. Now in this particular case, the visibility was not real good late in the show and throwing a yellow early was a safety issue taking presidence over the show.

As for being a first-timer......sometimes you have to improvise and adapt if you're left without any other choice.
