Flyin34
Don Yocum was a good man. He did great things for racing in CC. We may not have always seen things eye to eye, but when it came down to it he had racing in his best interest. Thank you to Don, Carol, and Don Jr. for all you have done for racing in South Texas. I appreciate all your hard work for the drivers. Don Sr. spent many hours busting his butt for racers in CC. The Carlucci Family sends out their deepest condolences to the Yocum family in your time of loss, and we thank you for your contributions to the sport of auto racing. Desert COP
To the Yocum Family, I wish you my sincerest condolences in the passing of Don. He was one of the greatest advocates of Asphalt Racing in Corpus Christi. His knowledge and inspiration to the young rookie drivers and seasoned drivers alike will be surely missed. gperry
Carol & Donnie & CC Speedway Family If Donnie could speak to us he might say: Please don't sing sad songs for me, Forget your grief and fear, For I am in a perfect place Away from pain and tears... It's far away from hunger And hurt and want and pride, I have a place in Heaven With the Master at my side. My life on earth was very good, As earthly life can go, But Paradise is so much more Than anyone can know... My heart is filled with happiness And sweet rejoicing, too. To walk with God is perfect peace, A joy forever new.
