SASPEEDRACER24
Jerry Aylor and Mike Haddox paced the 14 car field to green with Aylor getting out first. Before lap 1 was complete Charlie Pharris spun collecting Gene Schsch, Roger Faulkner and George Arrington. On the restart Aylor again got out first but the caution quickly flew for debris. M. Haddox beat Aylor back to the yellow for the lead. Aylor was checked by officials for a leak and went to the pits for repairs. M Haddox lead was short-lived when Michael Martin got the point bon lap 3. The yellow flew quickly again on lap when Ben Haddox stopped on the track. Back under green M. Haddox and David Kulhanek battled side by side for second while Martin inched away. Aylor charged back up through the field grabbing third by lap 6, while M. Haddox spun to the infield. Lap 10 saw Aylor take a detour off course, picking up an infield tire along the way, and losing two spots. At the mid point the top five were Martin, D. Kulhanek, Brent Carsen, Aylor and David Karickhoff. D. Kulhanek then put pressure on Martin for the lead on the high side. Aylor made it back to third on lap 16 but was 1/2 straightaway back. George Arrington and Karickhoff got together on lap 17 for another yellow. On the restart all heck broke loose when Aylor and D. Kulhanek jumped wheels sending Aylor spinning, collecting Faulkner, Carsen and Arrington. Back under green Martin got a two car advantage over M Haddox. Martin then began to pull away on the final five laps to get the win.
