rebelracewriter Posted October 20, 2003 Report Share Posted October 20, 2003 281’s Stampede special sports I.M.C.A.-sanctioned Modifieds STEPHENVILLE, Texas – 281 Speedway’s Stampede special on Oct. 25-26 sports a $1,000 top prize for I.M.C.A. Sunoco Modifieds. Pit gates open at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 for practice and registration. Gates open at 4 p.m. Saturday and qualifying races start at 6 p.m. and on Sunday, gates open at 3 p.m. and racing gets underway at 5 p.m. The event is presented by Smiley’s Racing Products. Entry fee is $40 and I.M.C.A. special events contingency awards will be given. Bleacher seating will be limited and spectators are asked to bring lawn chairs. Admission to the pits is $15 on Friday and $25 Saturday and Sunday; no passes will be accepted. More information is available by calling (817) 924-7826 or (254) 965-3092. Drivers can also call the first number to reserve their car number.
