The Firehouse Pub and Grill will be the place where the party begins on Friday at 6pm till ??? All Clash racers are encouraged to bring out their cars and show them off along with signing autographs. There will be live music, Pool, Darts, Food, Models taking pictures and Clash racing videos playing at all times. This is the perfect way to kick off an incredible weekend of racing, so make sure that you are there. The Clash of the Titans Labor Day Nationals has always been the biggest of the year with great car counts in all classes coming to do battle. This will mark a point in the season where racers who are serious about their championship hopes will get their cars ready with hopes of leaving the fifth race of the year atop the championship point standings. It is still too early start declaring champions, but given that this race is heading for the 2nd half of the 2007 season--- contenders should be sorted out at the conclusion of this Labor Day Nationals! The Clash of the Titans drag racing series has always prided itself on having something to please everyone, from racing fan to fanatic, and San Antonio,Tx will be no exception. This year will be the first time we have a all import challenge for the import racers. They will all run together with the top 16 running head s up and the remaining cars running on a index of there choice.(9.50,10.00,11.00,12.00,13.00,14.00,15.00, 16.00). The Motorcycle s will also have a first time place in The Clash this year with a all Motorcycle challenge. We will run all bikes together and take the top 16 to run heads up with the remaining bikes runing on a bracket race. Between the Heads Up racing and all the racing for cars, bikes, and imports alike there is not a dull moment in the stands. If you should happen to leave the stands there is always a nice car show and for the gear head in all of us there is a spectacular vendor midway that showcases the latest in automotive performance parts along with a swap meet to buy used parts. After a long hard day of racing on Saturday night there will be a great time to be had with a live band after the races. Expect this to be a great show. HMP Saturday night for TSRS. Corpus Sunday night for Chance Brownlee Memorial. Back to Kerr-patch on Monday. PS: Arthur has promised me Hooters girls at HMP for a late B-day present.
