txtom
I am going to get on board in this thing because I got some stuff from all you guys and I remember TX. Toms leather cowboy hat . Man I grew up in the BEST of times!!! I'm afraid you got me mixed up with someone else. I have never worn a cowboy hat of any kind. Or boots, or a belt with my name on it, etc. Never did the "k-mart cowboy" thing. At Pan American or Austin, you would have seen me wearing either a red and white budweiser or a blue goodyear gimme cap. At Hwy 16, it was either the remnants of the goodyear cap or a reed cams cap, but never a cowboy hat. Were you thinking of Tom Williams?. He is also from Schertz. He always wore a hat that looked like he stole it from Waylon Jennings.
Hayseed
Yes, Tom Williams! Iguess Nick is right about old age. My apologies
txtom
Yes, Tom Williams! Iguess Nick is right about old age. My apologies If anyone knows about old age, it is Nick!! Tom Williams is still around Schertz, rebuilds trucks at the old race shop next to his house. Still has T & M Auto parts on 1518, although I don't think he spends much time there. He also has/had a ranch in Colorado, don't know the current status of that one.
