Pritchett Wins Spoonts Memorial Race

 

 

 

ELM MOTT—After four straight rainouts, the Heart O' Texas Speedway snuck a full race in Sunday night. Terry Pritchett from Palmer took over the lead late in the feature race and held off Jason Gore from Forney to win the Steve Spoonts Memorial I-stock race.

 

 

 

Keith White from Academy returned to Victory Lane in the I.M.C.A. SportMod feature. Johnny Torres from San Antonio was second, and Sid Kiphen from Gatesville ran third.

 

 

 

P.J. Egbert from Kempner ended a long drought with a win in the I.M.C.A. modified feature. Pat McGuire from Belton and Keith White followed.

 

 

 

Nathan Sodek from Temple was the man to beat with a win in the I.M.C.A. hobby stock feature. Charles Cosper from Belton finished in second and Jeremy Bost from Waco in third.

 

 

 

David Williams from Meridian made a late race pass after working on Stephen Ingram from Waco to win the Ironhead Winged Modified feature. D.J. Estes from Mansfield came in third.

 

 

 

Next Friday will be a regular race program for I.M.C.A. modifieds, I-stocks, I.M.C.A. SportMods, I.M.C.A. hobby stocks, street stocks, pure stocks, cruisers, and junior mini stocks along with make-up features for I-stocks and I.M.C.A. modifieds from the rainout on June 8.
