rebelracewriter
7th Annual Stock Car Spectacular @ Thunder Hill Raceway 9-27-03 By J M Hallas Texas Dwarf Car Association Kyle, Texas. A full Field of 24 Dwarf cars started the Feature with pert time Street Stock driver, Charlie Alberson and Tyler Bailey on the front row. On the initial start Bailey spun between turns 1-2, collecting about eight other cars in the process. Finally under green, it was Alberson grabbing the lead. The caution flew again on lap 2 when Charles Earnhardt spun to the infield after contact with R R Booth. A lap after the restart, Bailey spun again to slow the action on lap 3. Benny Tufts found the wall on the next restart, with Tim Chapman spinning behind him. Just before halfway, Hoppy Malatek got the lead from Alberson, with several other getting by as well. At the midpoint the top five were Malatek, Scott Lindquist, Keith Roach, David Tedford and Alberson. Tedford, on the high side got a run, getting along side Malatek for the lead. As the duo battled it out for the top spot, Lindquist got inside and it was three wide for the lead. Tedford finally got the advantage and began to ease away from the field. The final caution came when Wes Whitley spun and got rearended by James Tullous. Tedford was able to hold off Malatek and Lindquist to take the checkers.
