Despite doing double duty in the ARTS and TSRS, Todd McLemore grabbed the pole for the 35 lap ARTS main, flanked by Jon Denham. McLemore quickly grabbed a big lead on green, while Denham got hung out to dry on the high groove and fell back to sixth. Joe Napoleon was able to close the gap slightly by lap 5, with Jon Garrett pressuring Steve Green for third. On lap 10 McLemore still maintained a 6 truck lead over Napoleon, who had a similar gap back to Green, Garrett, Richard Emde and Denham. At halfway the top five remained static, with the battle being from 3rd-6th. McLemore used traffic to his advantage as he added distance between himself and Napoleon. In the closing laps McLemore had a half straightaway lead over Napoleon, who had a big gap back to Green in third. At the checkers it was McLemore taking the victory in his Magnum Custom Trailers/Rays Marine/Chevy Truck. ARTS - LONE STAR Feature Results for the September 27th event at Thunderhill Raceway. Trailerman
Rebel Great writing. One thing unknown to most and left out is that the 77 truck is running an experimental 350 crate engine. So the Turn Key truck and the rest of the field are running the standard 305.
