rebelracewriter Posted June 18, 2007 Report Share Posted June 18, 2007 First, we'll start with the bad news: The races for tonight, June 16 have been rained out. WAAAAY too wet to race. Here's the good news: 1) The Memorial Day Dash For Cash that was to run tonight, will be run NEXT SATURDAY, JUNE 23! Everything is exactly the same as the flyer, except: PLUS Demo Derby, PLUS Winged Modifieds, PLUS Yell Off! It's going to be a HUGE night! There is still $30 pit passes, $12 grandstand admission, and the sprint cars are still 'off' that night. Since Bo wouldn't pay the 'weather bill' for the track, I did, so I guarantee it NOT TO rain out next Saturday! 2) On Wednesday, June 20, there will be an OPEN PRACTICE for all race divisions from 5pm until dark. Concessions and fuel will be available. Pit passes are $20. Grandstands are closed due to new insurance regulations. 3) June 30th will be mark the return of the ASCS Sprint Cars to Cowtown Speedway. The kids bike races that were scheduled for tonight will be run on June 30. Even with tonight's races being rained out, we'll make up for it the next two weekends.
