LUCKY FAN TO “RACE, RIDE AND WIN” 2003 CORVETTE AT CHEVY 500

 

FORT WORTH-DALLAS (September 23, 2003) – One lucky race fan will drive home in a 2003 Corvette following the Oct. 12 Chevy 500k at Texas Motor Speedway.

 

 

The “Race, Ride and Win” scratch-and-win game gives fans the chance to win one of over 8,000 prizes including the grand prize Chevrolet Corvette, tickets to the Indy Racing League IndyCar Series season finale Chevy 500 or the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Silverado 350k, a pair of 2004 Texas Motor Speedway Season and Chevy racing gear.

 

 

Race fans 18 years and older can visit their local participating Chevrolet dealer through Sept. 28 to obtain a “Race, Ride and Win” scratch-and-win game card, while supplies last.

 

 

Participating Chevrolet dealerships are in cities across Texas (Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas, El Paso, Fort Worth, Houston, Lubbock, McAllen, Tyler, and Wichita Falls) and Oklahoma (Oklahoma City and Tulsa).

 

 

Fifty finalists will be Chevrolet’s guests at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday, Oct. 12. Five of the 50 will then be eligible to win the Corvette during pre-race activities for the Chevy 500.

 

 

WAY OF LIFE – Four lucky fans will once again have the chance to become the “Rent-Way Fan 4 Life” at the Chevy 500.

 

 

Fans can enter the contest at 60 Rent-Way stores, including the Fort Worth-Dallas area. Four winning entries will be drawn on Oct. 6. Those four winners will be paired with an IRL IndyCar Series driver at a special function at Texas Motor Speedway on Oct. 9. If one of the four selected drivers wins the Chevy 500, their “Rent-Way Fan 4 Life” partner will win a Texas Motor Speedway Season Ticket for life, a lifetime membership to The Speedway Club and a $1,000 shopping spree at the Speedway World gift shop.

 

 

The participants, and up to three guests each, will watch the Chevy 500 race in style from custom “living rooms” set up adjacent to Victory Lane. The four four-foot-high platform “living rooms” will be provided by Rent-Way, the second largest rental/purchase company in America, and include a television and couches for the four fans and friends to watch their drivers compete in complete comfort.
