Dowell Takes HOT Win

 

ELM MOTT—J.P. Dowell from Killeen did it right after his second I.M.C.A. modified feature win of the year Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway. He was disqualified for the first win after failing to report for a post race inspection two weeks ago. Trevor Egbert from Salado finished second, and Pat McGuire from Belton was third.

 

Keith White from Academy won the I.M.C.A. SportMod feature. Matt Hood from McGregor advanced to second when the second place finisher was disqualified following a post race inspection. Chase Jupe from West moved to third.

 

The I-stock feature was won by Chad Estes from Troy. Jeff Sustaire from Emory finished in second on his first trip to the Speedway this season. David Khoury from Waco ran third.

 

Jason Gallimore from Robinson rejoiced over his first I.M.C.A. hobby stock win in a non-stop feature. Jeremy Bost from Waco and Randy from Sodek from Temple were second and third.

 

Whitney’s Mark Geuring took first place in the street stock feature followed by David Khoury of Waco and Doug Andrews from Elm Mott.

 

Michael George from Waco picked up the pure stock feature win. Jimmy Reid and Wade White, also from Waco, raced to second and third places.

 

After a five year drought, Jeremy Knight from Lacy Lakeview added another feature winner’s trophy to his collection with the cruiser feature win. Jeff Woodruff from Elm Mott took second, and Martin Quiram from Hubbard had his best finish of the season in third.

 

Garett Rawls from China Spring won his first feature in the junior mini stock class. Dylan Smith from Riesel and Brandon Kreder from Elm Mott rounded out the top three.

 

Kids’ Bicycle Race winners were: Age 2-3--Kayle Hanna Dunsmore, Salado; Age 4—Anthony Faulkner, Round Rock; Age 5—Dakota Holder, Waco; Age 6—Savanna Oliver, Robinson; Age 7—Weston Cogburn, Robinson; Age 8—Robbie Black, Hallsburg; Age 9—Cameron Young, Robinson; Age 10—Tyler Sumerour, China Spring; Age 11—Tyler Harris, Hewitt; Age 13—J.D. Moore, Lorena.
