(May 2) – The site for the EQ Cylinder Heads Wild West Tour doubleheader later this month has been moved to Aztec, N.M. Speedway. IMCA Modifieds headline Saturday and Sunday, May 26-27 cards at Aztec, now owned by Daryl Burson. Those races were originally scheduled to be held at Arrowhead Speedway in Cortez, Colo. Gates will open at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing is at 7 p.m. On Sunday, gates open at 10 a.m., hot laps are at 12:30 p.m. and racing begins at 1 p.m. Admission each day is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for children accompanying a paid adult. The addition of a Friday, Aug. 3 race also creates a second series twinbill at Aztec and puts the number of events in the inaugural tour at 13.
