BST Series travels to Goodland, Colby for

IMCA Modified weekend doubleheader

 

GOODLAND, Kan. (May 1) – Another Blood, Sweat and Tears Series doubleheader is on tap this week end in Kansas, with the tour for IMCA Modifieds traveling to Sherman County Raceway in Goodland on Saturday, May 5 and to Thomas County Speed way in Colby on Sunday, May 6.

 

Pit gates open at 2 p.m., hot laps are at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Grandstand admis sion at Sherman County is $8 for adults and $5 for kids. More information is available by calling 785 821-1128 or 785 890-5103.

 

On Sunday, gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12, and five and under get in free. Information about the Colby show is available from promoter Kerry Wark at 785 443-6174 during the day, 785-460-6403 in the evening or by emailing www.thomascountyspeedway@hotmail.com.

 

IMCA national, home region, special series and Smiley’s Racing Products state points will be awarded each night.

 

The BST Series has seen different winners in its first three events, with David Murray Jr., Scott Brown and Dustin Daniels picking up victories.
