Stone Scores Win at HOT

 

ELM MOTT—Kenny Stone from Troy took home the I.M.C.A. modified winners’ trophy Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway. Henry Witt, Jr., from Waco and Keith White from Academy finished in second and third.

 

Jason Batt from Harker Heights picked up the win in the I-Stock feature race. Eric Jones from Killeen ran second, and Benji Kirkpatrick from Elm Mott took third.

 

Keith White topped the I.M.C.A. SportMod field for the feature win. Chase Jupe from West posted a second place finish, and Chris Cogburn from Robinson followed in third.

 

McGregor driver, Michael Robertson, won the I.M.C.A. hobby stock feature. Jeremy Bost from Crawford and Charles Cosper from Belton rounded out the top three.

 

The street stock feature win went to Paul Bolfing from Waco. Brandon Geurin from Whitney picked up second place, and Jackie Hefti from Mabank was third.

 

Hillsboro native, Kirk Tidwell, earned the pure stock feature win followed by Tim Strasser from Riesel and Cody Daniel from Lacy Lakeview.

 

Kenneth Dean from Elm Mott led Jeremy Knight from Robinson and Jeff Willis from West to the checkered flag in the cruiser feature.

 

The top three in the junior mini stock race were Brandon Campos from Waco, Zach Henson from Golinda, and Brandon Kreder from Elm Mott.

 

Tom Hutchinson was the fasted of the twenty-four visiting Brazos Mini Sprints in the feature race. He was followed by Troy Wren and Dennis Ecklund.

 

The Kids’ Silver Rush will add some fun the next Friday’s regular race program for all classes. Gates open at 6:00 P.M. and races begin at 8:00 P.M. Check our website for more information at www.heartotexspeedway.com
