rebelracewriter Posted February 18, 2007 Report Share Posted February 18, 2007 Destroyer continues title sponsorship of Southern Region for IMCA Stock Cars KENNEDALE, Texas (Feb. 8) – Destroyer Chassis returns for a seventh season as title sponsor of the expanded Southern Region for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars. The Kennedale chassis builder will provide a portion of the point fund to be paid out to top 10 drivers in the region. Competitors must display two Destroyer Chassis decals on their race car to be eligible for any share of those awards. First place in the region pays $1,500, with the runner-up earning $700 and third, fourth and fifth place finishers each garnering $350. Sixth through 10th place finishers each receive $100. The new sanctioning of Kings Speedway at Hanford adds California to the regional mix that also includes Alabama, New Mexico and Texas. “Destroyer Chassis is the only title sponsor the Stock Car Southern Region has ever known, and Darryl Campbell and his staff have been fantastic to work with during the past seven seasons,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “They build a great car and if you live in the Southern Region, I don’t know why you would go anywhere else for your IMCA Stock Car needs.” More information about Destroyer-made chassis is available by calling 817 561-9634.
