NeilTPS Posted January 29, 2007 Report Share Posted January 29, 2007 TPS Announces Sponsors for 2007 San Antonio, Texas The Texas Pro Sedans Series has announced several associate sponsors for the 2007 racing season. In making the announcement, TPS Race & Administrative Director, Neil Upchurch indicated that some sponsors will specify their contingency awards while other sponsors will concentrate their sponsorships at certain races as identified below: Richard & Bea Villanueva of San Antonio for all San Antonio and Thunder Hill Raceway TPS events. Hoosier Racing Tires Southwest thru the TPS Hoosier Tire Dealer, Jerry Spencer of Austin for selected TPS races at San Antonio Speedway and Thunder Hill Raceway and TPS Champion and TPS “Rookie of the Year” Hoosier Jacket awards. San Antonio Speedway thru Terry Dickerson will guarantee $500 to win the March 3rd and $1,000 to win the October 6th TPS “Octoberfast” race and $200 added to finishing positions 2 thru 5. Nelson Skinner, Attorney at Law, for all San Antonio and Thunder Hill Raceway TPS events. Custom Control Modules, San Antonio, thru: Mark O'Donnell for specified TPS races. Randy Larsen Air Cooled Thunder Racing Engines will award two new 13” Hoosier Racing Tires to the first air cooled car to win a TPS "feature race" during the 2007 Texas Pro Sedans season. If no air cooled car wins a feature race the posted award in 2007, the award will be converted to cash and awarded at the TPS awards dinner: 1st in points $100. - 2nd in points $75. - 3rd in points $25. (Note: Randy Larsen has declared himself ineligible for this award).
