tqj3
Of course, there's also still a contingent that believes the event organizers made a fortune on the two Big Shots...
44SS
I'm sure everyone has been to other events and have paid to park, the rodeo, see the spurs, see a concert, or go downtown and park in the garage to go to the doctor. All but the last I'm sure are more than three dollars, and I know going to a race is more fun than going to the doctor!
Cummins359
thanks reb ican understand that either way and i believe that $3 was extremely reasonable when u think of parking fees these days the only thing i didnt understand even though i did not have a problem with it was the $10 re entry fee after 6 not to sure about that one. well see yall soon. the Midgets are coming!, The Midgets are coming! lol
marvinmcgee
I have yet to pay for parking at SAS or TMS or HOT. I little up front honesty might have helped. $3.00 was not a whole lot...just felt like a cheap shot!!! I'll get over it...until I have to pay to park at SAS for Octoberfest????? These things catch on pretty quick!!! Sort of like toll roads!!!

REBELRACER
there is no way you could honestly charge fans for parking at sas, that parking lot is pretty bad............especially when it rains...............lol
HORSEPOWER
Did they charge last year? Maybe if the Texas Big Shot did the same, it might have helped very little, since there wasn't many in attendance.
debwill
Marvin, Terry assured me this evening that SAS will not charge for parking or pit spots as long as he's running the track. Grandstand parking will be free this weekend, free again in two weeks for the ASA race and free for any upcoming races.
