STAGGER
Out of the three combos which engine makes the most power with the restrictor plate? 9:1, Concept, or the sealed? And does anyone know what most teams were using last weekend? tqj3
The one with the biggest holes in the restrictor plate? (I know somebody's going to go ballistic, but I'm just kidding.)
Pacecar
I don't know if anyone has tried the new concept motor combination recently allowed by the rules. If so, I think that motor would be superior. This concept motor would use the 200cc intake Dart heads, angle-milled to 37cc chambers, effectively a 20 degree valve motor (instead of stock 23), and 15 to 1 compression ratio with flattop pistons. With a restrictor plate, this motor should prevail. Maybe one of the front runners had this???
SASPEEDRACER24
If I am not mistaken Casey was the only one using a sealed motor and they said they seemed to be down on HP. I know that in tlking to Chris' crew he was using a motor from Volunteer Performance that was made for restrictorplate racing...
