blueoval
I have a 2002 Dodge 1500 pu. My heater only blows hot air when my truck gets around 2200 rpms. Anytime the truck is turning less that 2200 rpms the air blows very cold air Help?? It gets really cold down here sometimes. Guest Soaker
Make sure your radiator is full of water
Budman
Sounds like maybe you've got a vacuum leak somewhere along the line. I'd check for that.
PAPA
Heater core is some what clogged or the hoses are. Low fluid level in radiator could be the problem but most likely something is clogged. Mopar had a problem for years with cooling system rusting real bad and causing the rad and core to clog. try a flush. I bet it helps.
