rebelracewriter
Jeff's Performance returns as title sponsor for Southern SportMods SHERMAN, Texas (Jan. 19) Jeff's Performance returns as title sponsor for the sophomore season of IMCA's Southern SportMod division. The class was sanctioned at 16 tracks in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma in its debut year. A portion of the national point fund paid out to top drivers in the division will be furnished by the Sherman, Texas, engine builder. "The Southern SportMods were so successful in 2005 largely because of the support of Jeff Hill and everyone at Jeff's Performance," IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. "It's a class that provides the opportunity for more drivers to race and be competitive in an economical car that looks much like a Modified." Jeff's Performance became an IMCA sponsor in 2004, awarding contingencies to Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock drivers in its inaugural program. Information about Jeff's Performance Automotive-made engines is available by calling 877 868-0016 or at the www.jeffsperformance.com website.
