Budman
Well, You're close TD, but not the answer I was looking for. I'll be a little more specific. This goes back a few years...................to when race car wheels were actually made of magnesium. What happens when two race cars equipped with magnesium wheels "touch wheels" while racing? ProTree
magnesium is a porous metal, when the 2 wheels touched and the protective coating got removed, sooner or later you would have a lo or flat tire-found this doing some searching as 1 reason-what's some other
Budman
Dale, Tommy, TD, When those magnesium alloy wheels would touch they would produce a very distinctive, bright, large blue spark or momentary "flame" between the cars. Something I will never forget.
