txhotmod
If they will sanction IMCA---Corpus Christi will get some publicity nation wide 'and will not just be "another outlaw track" This would give the local Coprus drivers a chance to run for Texas State points with I37 being sanctioned for Friday nites and if So Texas will sanction for Saturday nites ---that will give our local guys a good chance to be in the top points standing for Texas ---and also for National points With the points fund that IMCA gives back t the racers at years end and the insurance they provid for the racers its a good deal, yes I know its a cost item to the track, but it has it benifits as well.... Most of the local cars are now IMCA legal and would need not change anything so no cost to most to be able to run
South Texas Speedway
Not sure we will sanction TXhotmod but we will be running by the IMCA rules. We will be putting out the rules and having a rules meeting soon so keep watching for additional information. We will be happy to discuss sanctioning at the meeting and see what the drivers want. Our current plans are: IMCA Modifieds Limited Late Models / Street Stocks working on this class. Pure Stocks South Texas Thunder Cars - 4 cyl. For you limited modified guys we are looking at a once a month thing if we get the interest, not many CC cars but we would like to help get it going in the area by putting on races if any out of town cars want to join us. I will provide more information as I get things ready to go. Thanks

Boerneracehounds50
Your best bet is to go IMCA santioned, so the valley guys have a good chance at a IMCA championchip, and the other bennies to go along with IMCA. This track is the nicest track around by far, good luck and hope it wors out.
