  1. All rules are being reviewed to see how they may be improved if needed. I would not expect wholesale changes with car counts beginning trend up. If you have a rule question or idea or even a possible change that could be considered e mail Gina at gina@tstrseries.com and she will work with tech officials on that process.

  2. Path she is taking is great, more ARCA and some IMSA in 2020 then a years in Trucks and Xfinity befire even considering CUP. Saw this year could be 2025 before she attempted the premier series. Helps she will still be in ger early 20's then and oh by the way the TV contracts are up in.

    Girl has talent.

  3. Talked in depth with a tech guy last weekend after that shunt. The question we both asked was how did that cell break loose! Back ass of the car was cleanly broken. Boys and Girls please spend that XTRA $ on safety all the speed you gain on motor and suspension in the grey area means nothing when your safety gear fails.

We may not be going 200 mph but when you stop it abruptly it has those results at times. I wondered why DCRST was so strict back in the day and after damn near bouncing my melon head off the wall at CTS I realized why.

  4. The racing at Pensacola was damn good all weekend. Lots of drama and action. Feel terrible for Nasse he drove his ass off and was a super clean run but Travis Braden did the same. Donnie Wilson's car had great runs Ty Majeski seemed to be the man and Casey Roderick was damn good too. If you get a chance find the last chance race for the Snowball and watch that.

Looking forward to 2020 SLM and PLM racing ready to get the World Series at New Smyrna going met with some CRA folks this weekend they are fired up and ready.

Yes Tim they do run at Pensacola, Bobby Santos sat on the pole with a 13.812.  Harrison Burton sat on the pole of the Snowball last year with a 16.273.

If I'm not mistaken and maybe Rodney could confirm this but I think when the Midgets ran at THR they qualified faster than the Super Latemodels.

    That is correct Sir!

  6. Well hell we got a season in with momentum towards 2020! Talk about Life Support Gina Schild Knowles must be a Paramedic because her passion and work have taken us off life support as Texas asphalt racing people, THANK YOU GINA!!

Big love to the teams that have made their way to the track this season. Car count trending upwards the racing has been great I have always said I'd rather watch 10-12 cars/trucks in a great race than 20 strung out, we will get there. So awesome to see guys like Joe Aramendia, Kenny Hurley, Paul Reyes etc begin to make their way back I know it's tough to know if this will all work out and not cheap to get these pieces put back together so seems folks are believing in this regime.

The reason for this post was actually to give huge props to the Super Stocks! Trace this back there have been many posts about the status of this class and I ran my big mouth here last week for cars to come and they did! We started 12 damn cars that's some progress! Even better I asked for some Pro Stocks and they came! BTW those stock cars look bad ass out there.

Getting there y'all, we've done it before and we will do it even better this time. Look forward to a great 2020 of Kickin' Asphalt with TSTRS & HMP!
