By Don Cook Blogginisracin.com Heart O Texas Speedway (Elm, Mott, TX) May 26 (Sunday) Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, wrapped up the Memorial Day Weekend of racing with Night 2 of the LoneStar Super Gas Red River Modified Tour (RRMT) presented by Smiley’s Racing Products! There were close to two hundred race cars in the pits. Sixty-five of them were IMCA Modifieds. Along with the IMCA Modifieds, were the IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars and the Factory Stocks. HOT also hosted the Wild Bill Shootout that featured the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Sprints! Check out the exciting racing action and family fun below: RRMT Modified Feature Winner: Last years Red River Modified Tour winner Chris Elliott, No. 915, appeared to have his second RRMT feature win, but with one lap to go, in the twenty-five lap feature, Chris's running buddy Cory Davis, No. 28, got past him for the $1,500 feature win! Fred Wojtek, No. 44f, was third, Tyler Stephens,No. 2, was fourth and Drew Armstrong, No. 01a, was fifth. Kevin Green, Jeff Hoegh, Riley Simmons, John Gober, and David Good Jr., rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature. Sixty-five Modifieds were in the pits. Last year's Red River Modified Tour winner Chris Elliot settled for second place Sunday night. Chase Allen and his impressive IRP CAM Chassis IMCA Modified. Justin Fifield, No. 49, was third, Paul White, No. 1, was fourth, and Gary Floyd, No. 48d, was fifth. Nathan Moore, Jeb Sessums, Michelle Melton, Chase Parson, Kenny Taylor, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature. Paul White was inducted into the Wall of Fame and had a top five finish in the feature. Trevor Egbert, No. 78, was second, Craig Oaks, No. 91, was third, Jacob Pirkle, No. 141, was fourth and Nick Clinkenbeard, was fifth. Kaden Honeycut, Gregory Muirhead, Brandon Geurin, Chris Cogburn, and Jake UpChurch, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-five cars started the feature. His brother Westin Abbey, No. 12, was second, Jason Batt, No. 9, had a good run for third, Gary Willimas, No. 69, was fourth and Damon Hammond, No. 116, was fifth. A.J. Dancer, Dilion Smith, Bryan Schutte, Shelby Williams, and Billy Wade, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-fives cars started the feature. He was voted into the Wall of Fame and he got his first feature win of the season! Nino, Jeff Hauser, Michael Guenat, Jeff Toler, and James Schoenrock, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-one cars started the feature.
