I am looking for some pics from the late 60's through mid 70's. My father n' law Jim Parr used to race there back then and I know that he would love to see some old pics.

I have a lot of pictures I took at Green Valley, but, they are mostly of the Funny Cars becasue that's who I ran with. I have hundreds of them. That was my favorite track of all the Texas tracks. Lots and lots of memories up there!!! Wish I could go back to those days.

I remember a gal named Mona that took a zillion pictures at drag races back in the 70's that was always with Larry Reep and the Grim Reeper Funny Car Team,would this happen to be MonaB?

Small world Mona.I used to see you at alot of ol dragstrips.Matter of fact,I saw Larry at the dragstrip Labor Day weekend.I used to run a car with Harvey Wallbanger,then had a red F/Gas Vette with David Bullock and Chuck Barton back in the mid to late 70's.Now I just travel and "start" the races.

Those were some good old days. I still miss Harvey. He was so full of it. Sad thing was, he made more money racing his tow truck than he did the car. I sure miss that s--- eatin' grin he had.

I know I should know you, just can't place you. I hardly ever forgot a car or a horse, but people...that's another problem

 

 

Is there any particular pictures you are looking for? like I said, most of mine are of the floppers, my true loves.
