ProTree Posted October 24, 2005 Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 The Texas Harley Party Drags were just that,a Big Party,and fast Harleys.The BadAss Harley of the day happened to be an ole friend of mine, Mike Lozano from San Antonio that I used to drag race against back in the late 70's in cars and there is no way I would go as fast as he does on 2 wheels today, as he was hitting the traps all day in the lo 7's at hi 180's to 190 mph into a strong head wind on his Pro Gas Harley. ProTree Posted October 25, 2005 Author Report Share Posted October 25, 2005 Rosie,you catch the guy blowing up the ole fuel bike about mid-track in the left lane.He did a pretty good job on that motor,After we picked up all those pieces,I could of nearly built a motor.Thought it was pretty neat when his crew guy came up to me and asked if we found any cylinder jugs and i told him,"yeah,they're sitting on the tool box in the back of the truck.They still had the heads on em,too.Those nitro fuel guys remind me of an hand grenade with the pin pulled ,you just wonder when its going to go KABOOM.
