October 22 race will determine the 2005 TPS Champion

 

San Antonio, Texas

 

Saturday night, October 22nd will mark the season ending race for the popular Texas Pro Sedans touring series. TPS will hold it’s eleventh and final 2005 event of their 30th consecutive racing season at Thunder Hill Raceway as part of the 9th annual “Stock Car Spectacular”.

 

The race will determine the Texas Pro Sedans Series and “Rookie of the Year” Champions for the 2005 season. The Feature Race between three drivers: Sergio Hexsel, Donnie Moore and Bill LaBarge will decide the TPS Championship. The point leading “Rookie” driver is Tom Johnson. He has effectively clinched the title over Lloyd Hart.

 

The “Stock Car Spectacular” special event is the largest race of the season at Thunder Hill Raceway and will include the following ten racing touring series and THR classes:

USRA ALLSTAR RACE TRUCKS

 

USRA TEXAS ASPHALT MODIFIEDS

 

TSRS – TEXAS SUPER RACING SERIES

 

THR A-LINE AUTO PARTS STREET STOCKS

 

THR HOBBY STOCKS

 

ALLISON LONE STAR LEGACYS

 

TEXAS DWARF CARS

 

NASKART RACING GO KARTS

 

TEXAS PRO SEDANS

 

The Texas Pro Sedans racing format will consist of 2 Qualifying time trial laps followed by a 30 lap Feature Race at approximately 6:00pm for the Texas Pro Sedan series four cylinder stock cars.

 

A large field of nearly 30 TPS cars and drivers is on record as having filed their entry.
